Adigy review and alternative: a $249 autopilot or your choice for $39.99
Adigy manages your Amazon ads for you; AuthorLens shows your real profit per book and what to change, and leaves the decision to you. Here is what each does, what it costs at different ad budgets, and who each one suits.
Short answer
Adigy runs your Amazon ads for you, from $249 a month. AuthorLens, at $39.99, shows your real profit per book and tells you what to change — and soon you'll be able to apply those fixes with one click or switch on an autopilot, whichever you choose. Adigy costs $249 a month plus 3.3% of ad spend above $2,000. If you have a large budget and don't want to touch ads at all, Adigy is built for that. If you want to see where the money goes and decide what changes yourself, that is what AuthorLens is for.
We use AuthorLens daily and have a business relationship with it. We have not run Adigy on our own accounts: everything about Adigy below comes from its website, as of September 25, 2026.
What Adigy does
Adigy is ad management software for KDP authors and publishers. According to its site:
- it manages the ads itself: bids, placements, campaign budgets, targeting, search terms and negative keywords, with hourly updates and 24/7 monitoring;
- it connects to Amazon Ads through the official Login with Amazon flow and describes itself as a verified Amazon Ads partner;
- it combines royalties and ad spend to show net profit by book, format, market, pen name, campaign and month;
- it covers 12 Amazon marketplaces and supports Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands; Audible ads, Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands video creatives are listed as "coming soon";
- Master Undo restores your account to its original setup or to a chosen date;
- setup includes an onboarding call; the first payment is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Adigy alternative: what AuthorLens does
AuthorLens is an analytics dashboard made only for Amazon KDP. For now it doesn't change your campaigns: it reads your data and shows what to fix. One-click fixes and an autopilot mode are coming soon, as options you choose.
- net profit per book and marketplace across 23 marketplaces — royalties minus ads, including video and brand ads assigned to the books they sold;
- organic vs ad sales by book, format and day;
- Ad Coach: a list of fixes with an estimated dollar impact and the exact bid to set;
- keyword rankings every day for up to 500 keywords, with a keyword-by-day matrix;
- competitor, niche and category screens;
- a Telegram report every morning, plus alerts the moment something happens: ad spend for the day passed your limit — $100, $200, $500 or any amount you choose — or Amazon blocked a book or rejected an ad.

When Adigy makes sense
- Your ad budget is large — several thousand dollars a month — and $249–350 is a small share of it.
- You don't want to touch ads at all. An autopilot moves bids every hour; no person does that.
- You trust an algorithm with your money and like having a one-click undo if something goes wrong.
When AuthorLens makes sense
- Your budget is under $2,000 a month. At that level Adigy's fee alone is $249 — more than six times AuthorLens.
- You want to decide yourself. AuthorLens shows why a campaign loses money and what to change. You can make the change yourself, and soon with one click or by switching on an autopilot. Nothing changes without your decision.
- You need more than ads: daily keyword positions, organic vs ad sales, niches and competitors.
One caution that applies to any autopilot: it speeds up both what works and what wastes money. Before handing your ads to an algorithm, check whether they are profitable at all. The quickest way is to subtract a month of Amazon Ads spend from a month of KDP royalties — our free calculator does it in a second.
Other options
- Managing ads yourself. Free apart from your time: the search term report, negative keywords and a monthly profit check. Our Amazon Ads for authors guide walks through it with real numbers.
- AdsDroid — done-for-you Amazon Ads management for established KDP publishers: a dedicated expert plus their own technology. £649 a month or 10% of net profit, whichever is higher, with a three-month minimum and at least about $3,000 a month in ad spend recommended (adsdroid.com, as of September 25, 2026). AdsDroid itself points smaller budgets to Adigy.
- BookBidder — an Amazon Ads autopilot at $49–79 a month. It moves bids by ACOS (ad spend as a share of ad-attributed sales), not by royalties, so check its results in your royalty report.
- Multi-store sales trackers such as Publisher Champ or ScribeCount, if you mainly need totals across several stores — see our tracker comparison.
Already using Adigy or BookBidder? How to check the results in royalties
Autopilots report in Amazon Ads numbers: ACOS and "sales" at list price. What a book actually earned shows up only in royalties. AuthorLens can sit next to any autopilot without getting in its way, because for now it only reads data. After a month you can see whether net profit per book went up once an algorithm took over the bids, or only the spend did.
What to look at:
- net profit per book before and after the autopilot;
- organic vs ad sales — whether ad orders simply replaced the ones that used to arrive on their own (how to count organic sales);
- TACoS — what share of all royalties goes to ads, and how it changes.

FAQ
How much does Adigy cost?
According to adigy.ai (September 2026): $249 a month, which includes up to $2,000 of monthly ad spend, plus 3.3% of spend above $2,000. At $5,000 a month that is $348. The first payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Does AuthorLens change my bids?
Not yet. AuthorLens only reads your data. Ad Coach tells you which bid to set and roughly how much it's worth per month; you make the change in Amazon Ads. Soon you'll be able to choose one-click fixes or an autopilot.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Adigy?
If you want automation, BookBidder costs $49–79 a month but works from ACOS, not royalties. If you want profit per book and fixes with dollar amounts, AuthorLens costs $39.99 a month, with one-click fixes or an autopilot coming soon.
Can I use Adigy and AuthorLens together?
Yes. For now AuthorLens is read-only, so it doesn't interfere with a tool that manages bids, and it lets you check whether the autopilot is actually profitable.
